Hey Everyone, I hope you are all doing well! I got tagged by the lovely Laura @ thebookcorps for the Stuck at Home Book Tag, and because we are all stuck at home, I thought this would be a fun one!

1. What are you currently reading?
Well I currently have a few books on the go, but that is more because I haven’t been able to finish a few books due to my feelings. So I will just go with the book I am ACTUALLY reading which is Tiān Guān Cì Fú by Mò Xiāng Tóng Xiù and I am ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT.
2. What’s your favourite ‘can’t-leave-the-house’ activity?
I have been colouring in alot, as I find it stops me from going through social media or looking at the news. I have also been watching SOTUS on netflix, which is an enemies to lovers boys love series (it is SO good), and I have been playing Borderlands 3 on x-box.
Other than that, I have been going for a 7km nearly every day which has been quite nice 🙂
3. A book you’ve been meaning to read for forever
Vengeful by V.E. Schwab. I keep thinking about how I need to read it, and it is sitting in my bookshelf, but I keep getting sidetracked.
4. An intimidating book on your TBR
Songs of a War Boy by Deng Adut is a biography about Deng being conscripted to the Sudan People’s Liberation Army. My sister was really surprised that I had this book in my bookshelf as I generally only read fantasy. I think this one is intimidating because it’s a biography and I know it is going to be a tough read.
5. Top 3 priority books on your TBR
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare is the first book in the Last Hours series and I am so excited to read it. Only problem is I have heard that there is ANOTHER effing love triangle, and I really just don’t want to deal with that right now.
Realm of Ash by Tasha Suri is the sequel to Empire of Sand (which I IMPLORE you to read, it is SO GOOD), and I have heard that Realm of Ash is even better than the first book, which I find hard to believe seeing as the first one was amazing.
This is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar & Max Gladstone is a f/f time travel romance which I have heard nothing but good things about. I think the only thing that makes me hesitant to pick it up straight away is that it’s time travel….and time travel fucks with my head haha.
6. Recommend a short book
A Little Light Mischief by Cat Sebastian – This book is SO GOOD!!! A good f/f historical romance with two badass main characters is sometimes all you need in life. READ IT!!
7. Recommend a long book
Mó Dào Zǔ Shī by Mò Xiāng Tóng Xiù – If you want fantasy, action, amazing and complex character development, enemies to lovers romance and a crap load of side characters that you will love as much as the main characters, then you absolutely need to read this book. Don’t get me wrong, it’s 1500 pages, so a bit of dedication is required, but you absolutely WILL NOT regret it.
8. Something you’d love to do while stuck at home
Well I would actually like to do pilates, but I don’t have a mat to use and I don’t have carpets. I know this sounds like a crap excuse but….it hurts my hands and knees 😦
9. What do you plan on reading next?
Well it kind of depends on when I finish TGCF. If I finish it before 30 June 2020 (I freaking hope so haha) I will read Realm of Ash. If I finish after then I will be reading Empire of Gold by S.A. Chakraborty!!!!
Any anyone else who would like to do this tag!!
